A long-john aluminium frame with a wooden box up front: two bench seats with harnesses, or 100 litres of whatever the day needs. The mid-drive motor gives 85 Nm and assists to 25 km/h; the 545 Wh battery lasts 80 to 110 km depending on load and hills.
A belt drive and a stepless hub mean you turn a grip rather than hunt for gears at a light with a full box, and never oil a chain. One size, with a stem and post that adjust so two adults in one household can share it.
